Something for every kind of boater and all skill levels, from rules of the road to advanced anchoring; from boat handling how-to’s for couples to the single girl's DIY guide to cruising the Inside Passage

SEATTLE – December 4, 2019 – One of the most popular features at the Seattle Boat Show is the extensive line-up of free boating and fishing seminars and advanced training classes for a fee through Boat Show University. No other show in North America matches the Seattle seminar schedule in terms of the quality, variety and number of seminars offered. At the January 2020 show there will more than 200 free seminars – 160 boating seminars and 77 fishing and crabbing seminars. This year’s line-up offers something for everyone, including hundreds of topics for those who have never attended a seminar and dozens of new presenters and topics for those who are looking for new content.

All seminars take place at CenturyLink Field Event Center. The complete schedule of seminars can be found at www.SeattleBoatShow.com/seminars. It is searchable by type, topic, date, stage and key word, making it easy for attendees to research and plan their show visits. For those attending seminars on two or more days, a 9-day pass for $30 offers the best ticketing value.

The show, with two locations — indoors at CenturyLink Field Event Center and afloat at South Lake Union — opens Friday, Jan. 24 and runs through Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 with a free shuttle running between both locations.
