What size is the ice rink?

The rink is 4,000 sq. ft. with a max capacity of 125 skaters.

    Are there any age restrictions?

No! Our motto is "if you can walk, you can skate." We do ask that anyone under the age of 12 be accompanied by an adult. PLEASE NOTE: PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CARRY THEIR CHILDREN WHILE SKATING.

If it's raining, will the ice rink still be open?

Yes! We know that weather in Olympia is unpredictable, that's why the ice rink is housed under a tent with retractable sides to protect the skaters and the ice from the elements.

Will there be restrooms at the ice rink?

Yes! We will have temporary restrooms available during the run of the ice rink.

Do you have hockey and figure skates available?

    Yes, we offer both.

What rental skate sizes are available?

We have skates from Toddler 9 to Adult 14. We do offer double-runners for children under the age of 4. Structured shoes, like sneakers or boots, are required for clamp on double-runners.

Do you offer double-runner skates or skate aids for toddlers?

We offer double-runner skates in toddler sizes. We have a very limited number of skate aids that are available to rent and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Does the rink offer accessible skating equipment?

Yes, some equipment is available for those who need accommodations. Please contact the rink at olympia@icerinkevents.com to discuss your specific equipment needs.

I don't want to skate, can I come watch?

Yes! There is no cost to come and watch. We will have limited seating available for skaters to change their shoes, you are welcome to sit and watch when they are not in use. You can also stand and watch outside the rink.
