WOMAN DRIVES FOR MILES WITH A BALD EAGLE STUCK TO HER TRUCK

A Minnesota woman’s Sunday drive to church came with a surprising passenger — a bald eagle clinging to the front of her truck.

She says she saw the bird swoop near the highway and heard a loud thud but didn’t spot anything in her mirrors, so she kept on driving. For nearly an hour. When she finally parked at church, she found what she called the “dang bird” still attached — talons tangled in the grille but very much alive.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources confirmed the eagle wasn’t injured. After a quick check, wildlife officers released it back into the wild — a little ruffled, perhaps, but otherwise just fine.
