WHOLE FOODS WILL SOON LET YOU PAY WITH YOUR PALM PRINT

Whole Foods is set to revolutionize the shopping experience with the integration of biometric technology that enables customers to pay with a simple wave of their hand. The grocery chain began testing palm recognition payment options two years ago and is now taking a significant step forward by incorporating Amazon One palm scanners across all 500-plus store locations.

Already in use at more than 200 Whole Foods stores in 20 states, the palm scanners have received positive feedback from customers. By the end of this year, the rest of the locations will implement the cutting-edge technology, allowing shoppers nationwide to embrace this seamless and secure payment method.
