THERE'S A RACE THAT REQUIRES YOU TO EAT TACO BELL FOR 31 MILES

WASHINGTON — If you’ve ever dreamed of turning a Taco Bell run into a marathon, Washington D.C. now has you covered — literally.

A new 31-mile race challenges participants to jog their way across the nation’s capital, making pit stops at eight different Taco Bells along the route. The catch? Runners have to buy their own tacos — receipts required — and finish within 11 hours to earn a medal.

Organizers say the event was inspired by a similar race in Colorado but note this one isn’t officially sponsored by Taco Bell. Still, it’s the ultimate test of endurance, digestion, and perhaps questionable life choices.

Because nothing says “runner’s high” quite like refueling with a Crunchwrap Supreme at mile 20.
