STUDY: THE SLEEPIEST STATE IN AMERICA

In a recent study conducted by sleep experts, California emerged as the most sleep-deprived state in America. The research aimed to identify the regions with the least amount of shut-eye by analyzing the prevalence of Google searches related to sleep disorders.

The study revealed that Californians were particularly active in searching for treatments related to two primary sleep disorders: ‘sleep apnea’ and ‘insomnia.’ The substantial search volume for these conditions pointed to a significant sleep issue within the state.

Following California on the list was Maryland, which ranked as the second-sleepiest state. New York claimed the third spot, a result attributed humorously to its famous nickname, ‘the city that never sleeps.’

Rounding out the list of sleep-deprived states were Massachusetts and Nevada, both showing notable interest in sleep disorder treatments through online searches.
