SEATTLE — Following the trend set by plant-based meats, a Seattle-based company is introducing a beanless coffee. Made from superfoods and other ingredients, this innovation aims to mimic traditional coffee without using beans.

The firm, Atomo Coffee  cites environmental concerns, predicting that by 2050, coffee farms could become unsustainable because of climate change. Their beanless brew reportedly produces 93% fewer carbon emissions and consumes 94% less water than today's coffee. The product's caffeine content remains a point of interest for many consumers.
