NORTH CAROLINA  — A rather unusual measure has been taken at a middle school in North Carolina as mirrors have been removed from their bathrooms due to their unintended role as a major distraction. The Alamance-Burlington School System recently made the decision to eliminate mirrors at Southern Alamance Middle School in an effort to curb excessive bathroom usage for creating TikTok content.

Reports revealed that some students had been frequently skipping classes, making their way to the restroom as many as nine times a day to produce TikTok videos. The school administration became aware of this phenomenon as the mirrors were prominently featured in these videos, inadvertently serving as a catalyst for students' distractions.

But that's not all – the school district is implementing another measure by mandating the use of digital hall passes to monitor and track the time students spend outside of the classroom, ensuring a more focused and productive educational environment.
