DALLAS — World War Two and Korean War veteran Harry Perez Cerezo, a recipient of the Purple Heart, celebrated his 101st birthday in a unique fashion — at a Hooters restaurant in Texas. Surrounded by the restaurant's staff, known as Hooters Girls, Cerezo was serenaded and presented with a cake and a special cap to honor his military service.

According to his family, the festivities moved Cerezo to tears. Overwhelmed with joy, he has pledged to celebrate all his future birthdays at the popular chicken wings chain. With his 102nd birthday approaching, Cerezo's commitment to his newfound birthday tradition at Hooters shows no signs of waning.
