ACCRA, Ghana — There’s a biblical flood coming, at least according to one man who says he’s been given advance notice.
Ebo Noah, a self-proclaimed prophet in Ghana — and yes, with a name like “Noah,” the irony is not lost — is warning followers that a massive flood will begin on December 25 and last for three years. He says he’s been divinely instructed to prepare for it by building ten arks.
Details about Noah himself are scarce, but his message is spreading fast online, where he’s built a sizable social media following. Videos show him preaching urgency, faith, and preparation as the calendar counts down to his predicted deluge.
What remains unclear is who, exactly, gets a spot aboard one of the arks if the rains begin to fall. Noah hasn’t outlined any criteria, tickets, or boarding rules — only that the warning has been given.
For now, there’s no flood in sight. But in the age of viral prophecy, Ebo Noah’s message is already making waves.
