KIDS WANT CRYPTO FOR CHRISTMAS / BANK OF AMERICA BTC

SEATTLE — If you wouldn’t mind a little crypto in your stocking this year, you’re not alone. A new survey shows nearly half of Gen Z would be perfectly happy unwrapping digital assets on Christmas morning.

For everyone else, the enthusiasm drops off quickly. Only 28% of U.S. adults say they’d be excited to receive Bitcoin — and with the market’s recent slump, it’s not exactly the hottest gift on the shelf.

The survey  from VISA and Morning Consult also highlights who’s actually holding crypto today: mostly men ages 18 to 49, with another bump among men in their 50s. Women make up just 17% of global crypto owners, underscoring the industry’s persistent gender gap.

And the timing is interesting. Bank of America is now suggesting that clients consider a 1% to 4% allocation to Bitcoin and other digital assets

A conservative slice, but a major shift from traditional Wall Street guidance.

That puts the bank’s advice right alongside a younger generation already eyeing crypto as a stocking stuffer, even as the broader public remains wary.
