DOG SAVES NEIGHBORHOOD FROM EXPLOSIVE GAS LEAK

PHILADELPHIA — A husky named Kobe is being hailed as a hero in Philadelphia after potentially averting a major gas explosion. The dog's owner reported on Instagram that their home heater malfunctioned around the same time Kobe began insistently digging holes in the yard.
Initially, tests for a gas leak inside the home showed no issues. However, when the focus turned to the area where Kobe had been digging, an alarmingly high gas concentration was detected. According to the gas company, the underground leak was significant enough to potentially destroy not only the owner's home but also neighboring residences. Kobe's actions have earned him widespread acclaim.
