DEARBORN, Mich. — Carhartt, the renowned workwear brand headquartered in Dearborn, unveiled its Women’s Spring 2024 Collection on Feb. 1, targeting women across all demographics with an emphasis on versatility and sustainability. The collection, which draws inspiration from the increasing presence of women in skilled trades, includes a range of sweatshirts and tees designed for softness, comfort, and durability, suitable for both work and leisure activities.

In a move towards environmental sustainability, Carhartt has collaborated with TENCEL, incorporating their branded fibers into the collection. These fibers, notable for their durability and compostable nature at the end of their lifecycle, are sourced from certified sustainable sources, aligning with Carhartt’s commitment to sustainability without compromising the brand’s renowned durability.

The Spring 2024 line introduces an array of new products, including a crewneck, short-sleeve sweatshirt, a flower pocket T-shirt, and a graphic tee, available in fresh spring colors such as Lilac Haze, Dried Clay, Coral Glow, and Tropical Peach. This collection merges soft textures with the brand’s signature durability and flexibility, catering specifically to women in skilled trades.

Samantha Denton, Carhartt’s vice president of the women’s category, highlighted the collection’s design process, noting, “After meeting with real women in the field, we repeatedly heard the need for lighter, more comfortable clothing that’s versatile enough for use both on and off the job, and that can endure the rigors of their day. Our response was to create products that are softer, lighter, and more breathable, without sacrificing the durability Carhartt is known for. This collection is truly by women, for women, and about women who understand the true meaning of hard work.”
