Ballot proposition No. 1 proposes the formation of a regional fire authority (RFA) for Olympia and Tumwater and its plan for governance, operations, and financing, including the imposition of a “Fire Benefit Charge".
Join fellow Olympia and Tumwater residents on Wednesday, March 29th for a voter information forum about the Olympia Tumwater Fire Authority, which will be on the ballot for the special election on April 25th.
The forum is presented by The League of Women Voters Thurston County and The JOLT (Journal of Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater) and will be held in Studio A at Thurston Community Media, 440 Yauger Way SW, Suite C, Olympia WA.
The event will also be televised on TCTV channel 77 on the Comcast Cable system, and live-streamed at TCMedia.org.
