    The Olympia Host Lions 30th annual apple sale is underway and you can order your apples now for delivery in October. You get a 40 pound box of fresh from the orchard Fuji apples for just $45. That is just $1..13 per pound - and no added tax or delivery charge.

    Best of all, when you buy apples from the Lions you are helping to fund local Lions projects like Camp Leo for children with diabetes, hearing aids for seniors, or the Low Vision Resource Center here in Olympia.  100% of the profits from the apple sale are distributed back to the public - all club administrative costs are paid for by the Lions themselves.  And here's a really good deal -- this year you can buy a box of apples and tell the Lions to deliver it for you to your local food bank.  Such an easy way to help feed our hungry neighbors.  To order, call 360 790-8667 before October 1.
