MemoryLab at the Lacey Museum and Cultural Center invites residents to co-author shared history using flash oral histories on February 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Oral histories are personal histories recording everyday experiences.
We want to amplify the long existing histories in the margins and create the opportunity for our community to decide how to remember its past.
This event is a part of our larger oral history project, Stories of the South Sound, recording underrepresented voices in our region.
All-ages and identities are encouraged to participate.
