Mason County Forest Festival

It's the Mason County Forest Festival “Legends of the Timber!" 

From longtime festival traditions to new memories waiting to be made, The Forest Festival is four days packed with small-town fun for all ages.

Most events are free to attend, and every part of the festival is powered by local volunteers, sponsors, and community support.

Saturday May 30th:

• The Goldsborough Creek Run:

Start times:

•        7:00am - 7 mile walk. 

•        8:00am - 7 mile run, 2 mile run, 2 mile walk. 

•        9:15am - 1/4 mile junior jog (Ages 3-8)

•        9:30am - 1/4 mile (Ages 65+) 

• Firefighters Pancake Breakfast
• The Paul Bunyan Grand Parade 11am.
• The Logging Competition and Vendors at Loop Field starts at 12:30pm-4pm.
• Enjoy Saturday Night’s Free Family Event “Rockin’ The Forest” with live music at 4pm.
• Following the music is the Spectacular Fireworks Display at 10pm!

Sunday May 31st:

• The Shelton Car Show-Off starts at 10am on Olympic Highway North.

Forest Festival Carnival:

There’s always fun to be had at the carnival!

BONUS - NOT ONE, but TWO Carnival Weekends!!

Pre-sale Wristbands will be honored all days the carnival is open.

Tickets are $1 each, or $40 for a wristband. Rides typically take 4-7 tickets to ride. 36” minimum height.
