Tacoma Youth Symphony Presents Symphonic Variations

The Tacoma Young Artists Orchestra presents Symphonic Variations on Saturday May 11th 2019 at 7pm in the Rialto Theater.
Conducted by guest John Falskow, this concert is sponsored by 'The Hsushi Yeh Family Foundation and the Dimmer Family Foundation."
The program will open with Otto Nicolai's Overture to the Merry Wives of Windsor. Dr. Falskow will then lead the Tacoma Young Artists Orchestra in Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6. After intermission the Orchestra will be joined by Mary Manning for Dvorak's Romance for Violin. Ms. Manning is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and the principle second violinist in the Northwest Sinfonietta. The evening will conclude with Antonin Dvorak's Symphonic Variations.
Bring your imagination and join the Tacoma young Artists Orchestra in an unforgettable evening. Balcony seating is $25.00 and can be purchased by calling the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association at (253) 627-2792. Main floor festival seating is $12.00 prior to the concert and $15.00 at the door. The Tacoma Young Artists Orchestra is one of six orchestras presented by the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association. Season support has been provided by the City of Tacoma Arts Commission and the Washington State Arts Commission.
